Madeira ON THE MOVE, is the perfect motorhome for your family vacation with children or even with friends. The Cappucino-style Ford Transit was completely renovated in 2024 and designed with great care to provide all the comfort of home for lovers of wheels. It is a vehicle equipped to a good standard (we don't have a fridge but we have an insulated big cooler that keeps ice for 5 days) and practical to drive and park but with special requirements for conscious and patient use due to its age and island topography. None of this compromises its performance but the most impatient tend not to fully enjoy their vacation due to these small details.

Madeira Island's topography is distinguished by several prominent peaks, including Pico Ruivo (1,862 m), Pico das Torres (1,851 m), and Pico do Arieiro (1,818 m). The northern coastline is marked by high cliffs, while the western part of the island features a plateau region known as Paul da Serra, ranging from 1,300 to 1,500 meters.

It is important for drivers to understand that motorhome holidays require patience and a relaxed pace. Visiting more than three points in a day is often impractical, especially when they are located far apart. A Cappuccino motorhome is a heavy vehicle that drives slowly, particularly on steep slopes. When descending, it is mandatory to use the gearbox (2nd and 1st gears) and the brake pedal as auxiliary support to prevent brake overheating.
